This is a show-stopper. Originally the center stone of a Georgian necklace that I took apart to make this ring and a pair of earrings. The stone was so magnificent that I thought it deserved to be on its own. The diamond face measures 14.6mm x 10.58mm with significant height- the cut is incredible. Estimated carat weight is 2.7-3 carats, but faces up like 5 cts. Clarity is amazing other than one little booger on the lower right side. The stone is foiled-backed and collet set in silver, there is slight oxidation to the foil. I had an 18k yellow gold band soldered on the back. Ring size 5.
